Bass / Vocals

 

Mark was Born in Louisville, Kentucky. He started playing bass when he was 13 years old. In the late 80's he co-founded the popular heavy metal band Rebus Diva out of Eugene, Oregon. Next he went on to a singer/songwriter format, heading the duet of Mark Alton /Matt Parker. From there he founded the folk-rock band Wide Open, once again doing lead vocals and playing guitar and bass. He also played bass for singer/songwriter Kenneth Maffeo in the band Dragonfly Home. Mark is now providing Scarlet Jones with its deep sonic backbone.
